It's
been almost two years since we played The Wheatsheaf in
Braunston. The place was packed and it was a great evening. John
D was in great form and had the place swinging right from the
first number. Added bonus was the availability of great Chinese
food .... which Matt took copious advantage of at the end of the
evening! |

A new
venue - The Elephant and Castle, Banbury. A boisterous evening
was had by all - lots of dancing and fun had by all. Good to see
some Live music creeping back into Banbury.

Back
to the New Inn, Buckingham. What a night - a great atmosphere
from the word go and a packed house. This is always a favourite
place to play for us - a guaranteed good time and a guaranteed
great audience. Special thanks to the landlord Michael for
promoting us so well with posters inside and outside. We can't
wait to come back again soon.

A new
venue! The Rifle Butt. A great place - loads of space and really
great crowd in. We had a great time and look forward to a return
as soon as possible to this great pub. |

The
Plough, Bletchley. Great venue - a night to remember. |

Saturday 29th September 2007 |
|
The
Brave Old Oak, Towcester. This where we practice and it is
always fun to play here as the locals know us well and word
usually gets out that we are in town. The place was absolutely
packed - those that couldn't get in were dancing outside on the
pavement! An absolutely amazing night - thanks to all at the Oak
for your hospitality on thursday evenings and we hope to back
again very soon. |

Saturday 1st September 2007 |
|
Stanwick Working Men's Club. Back again to play this packed and
nicely renovated club. Probably our best night at this popular
spot - we had a great sound and John pulled out all the stops to
please the enthusiastic Stanwick audience. |

Saturday 18th August 2007 |
|
The
Courthouse, Rugby. By popular demand - we found ourselves
back in Court for this popular gig. It was a quiet night by
Rugby's usual standards but we lucky to have such an
appreciative crowd. We also debuted some new cover numbers -
including 'Radar Love' and 'Won't Get Fooled Again', both of
which seemed to strike just the right chord :-) |

Saturday 28th July 2007 |
|
Harpole Bowls Club - Charity Night in aid of Breast Cancer.
Almost cancelled due to bad weather ... fortunately this great
event went ahead as planned and we all had a great evening.
David kicked the night off by doing his acoustic set and then we
got a bit louder!! |

A
private party in Braunston - we played our longest ever set -
all night. Fantastic night. |

Great
Doddington Working Men's Club. We were glad to be welcomed back
to this great venue. A lively and appreciative audience as
usual. We're looking forward to a return visit to this great
club. |

|
The
39th Bloxham Steam Rally. We were delighted to be asked to
headline this major event in Bloxham. Although the weather was
atrocious we did not let that dampen our spirits - and despite
the mud everyone had a great time. |

Saturday 16th June 2007 |
|
The
Romany, Northampton. Another great night at the Romany - thanks
for coming to see us. |
| |
Friday 4th May 2007 |
|
The New Inn,
Buckingham. This is one of our favourite venues - it's an intimate pub,
always packed and always a good crowd. John D was on great form leaping
from table tops and even singing outside (again). Thanks for such a
great night and we hope to be back again soon. |

We had an
absolutely great night at the Brave Old Oak - dancing in street in
fact! John did us proud and took the wireless mike outside in to the
street - only to be followed by some of the lively audience! We stopped
the traffic in Towcester!! |

Saturday 24th March 2007

|
Another place
we haven't played for well over a year! It was good to be back - and
with our new drummer Steve. Our plans were somewhat scuppered by the
England footie on the big screen but nonetheless - fun was had by all!
We're back at the Romany two more times this year - check out the
gig dates page for details. |

It's been over
a year and half since we last played the The Jolly Abbot. Rugby always
comes up trumps when it comes to a good audience. An appreciative
bunch with some very 'interesting' dancing - thank you Rugby. |

Wart$ & All
are pleased to announce their NEW DRUMMER .....
As some of you
know John Taylor parted company with the band in February - he's putting
away his drumsticks and packing away his bass drum in order to spend his
Saturday nights following less manic pursuits! We wish John all the best
and are pleased to hear that he's coming to see us this Saturday at the
Jolly Abbot in Rugby. After a brief
period of panic (given the busy Spring gig schedule) - we are pleased to
announce the appointment of Steve Garner as our new resident drummer.
Steve came for a try out last night and things seemed to gel almost
immediately. Steve's first gig
with us will be on the 24th March at the Romany, Northampton. Why not
come along and lend us your support. |

Saturday 10th March 2007

|
As always - an
appreciative audience. Great venue, great feedback and another gig
booked later in the year. Thanks Stanwick! |

Saturday 3rd February 2007

|
We played at the Courthouse,
Rugby. A really great pub to play in - lots of room - land a packed
house.
They were a great audience who really knew how to have a good time. We
played two shortish lively sets. We got a great email from the Landlord
who wants us back for at least two more dates in the coming months.
Dates to be confirmed - watch the
gig-dates
page for further info. |

A place we
love playing -
The Live and Let Live at Harpole. The house was packed for a private
party, we played three sets right up to midnight. Great fun. |
