Afton Lovell (Pettegrew) Wilkins has lived a busy life of raising children, working, church, and occasionally being bitten by the travel bug. But writing stories has always been a central theme of her adult life and has often carried her through the good times and bad. In 1983, she was awarded a 1st honorable mention for one of her stories which encouraged her to continue writing and has since lead to her first book being published in May, 2010. Afton now resides, (with her three cats) in Farmington, Utah where she continues to write and share stories with her 6 children, 18 grandchildren, and 5 great grandchildren.
